RINGTONE 21 | Road Avenger / Road Blaster (Japanese name). VERY IMPORTANT UNFINISHED RESEARCH NOTES: While most credits you'll find online will mention the soundtrack was done by J WALK, King Reguyth, and Motoi Sakuraba, who worked on the 1992 Mega CD port, I still can't figure out who is the author of this 14 seconds part. The game was created in 1985 by Data East for laserdisc systems, and had a different opening music without vocals, but it still had this short part at the beginning. You only need to look at the dates: J WALK were active from 1996 to 2003, Sakuraba's first release in his band Deja Vu was in 1988, but King Reguyth is shown to have only been active around 1984. It's the most likely suspect, but then, why was he/them credited for the 1992 opening? Only for this part? It's technically not part of the song itself! Please tell me you have the answers. I need to know. |
