When you are not logged in, your edits are attributed to an username that looks like ID:2Wve4xe4 - it works like a 2ch-style ID. The 8 characters are generated randomly according to the current day and your IP address. It is not possible for normal users to discover your IP address by analyzing the ID.
Note that while ID talk pages work properly, they are pointless to use because the ID changes every day. Use page-specific talk pages instead, or if you leave a user a message, check back on their talk page.
This makes it a FUKKEN PAIN IN THE ASS for the Admins to ban SECRET ANTI-VIP SOLDIERS.
